| NOVATO, CA – Bank of Marin (Nasdq:BMRC) President and CEO Russell A. Colombo has announced the expansion of Bank of Marin, with the addition of a branch in Greenbrae. The announcement was made on May 13 at the annual Shareholder’s Meeting.
The new stand-alone office will be located at 501 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., on the west side of the Bon Air Shopping Center. The 4200 square foot office will be full-service with an estimated 8 employees, including a Regional Manager, Branch Manager and several other branch personnel, plus Private Banking and Wealth Management Departments. The building will be leased through Greenbrae Management Co. and is expected to open in late 2009.
“Greenbrae is a strategically important location that helps us complete our footprint in Marin County,” said Colombo. “We’ve been looking for quite some time for a location that allows us to provide better service to the west Marin communities of Greenbrae, San Anselmo and Fairfax. These are growing business areas and we’re pleased to be able to announce that this branch will be serving these customers in the near future.”
