Bank of Marin Named Top Corporate Philanthropist
Makes Prestigious San Francisco Business Times List for 10th Year
NOVATO, CA, August 1, 2013 – Bank of Marin (NASDAQ: BMRC) has been named to the San Francisco Business Times annual “Top Corporate Philanthropist” list for the 10th consecutive year. The list of more than 70 companies recognizes the generosity of Bay Area businesses in total giving and volunteerism. Joan Capurro, Director of Community Relations, accepted the award on behalf of the Bank at the awards event.
Bank of Marin gives more than 1% of pre-tax profit to charity. The Bank’s financial contributions to non-profits are complemented by the donation of more than 10,000 hours of employee volunteer hours during the course of the year. Officers of the Bank also serve on 70 local non-profit boards across San Francisco, Marin, Napa and Sonoma Counties.
