Bank of Marin Honored with Corporate Philanthropy Award
NOVATO, CA – (April 1, 2016) – On Wednesday, March 30, Bank of Marin was honored for the third year as one of 19 North Bay businesses and organizations selected for the North Bay Business Journal’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards. The award was first instituted in 2014 and recognizes organizations that contribute significantly to the betterment of the communities where they do business. Bank of Marin has given more than 1% of pre-tax profit to charity for over a decade. The Bank’s financial contributions to non-profits are complemented by employees volunteering over 7500 hours during the course of the year at over 340 organizations. Officers of the Bank also serve on over 60 non-profit boards across five counties including Marin, Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco and Alameda.
