Bank of Marin to Host Community Shred Days & School Supply Drives in August

NOVATO, CA – (June 21, 2017) – Bank of Marin will host its annual Shred Day & School Supply Drive in August at four branch locations: Alameda–South Shore, Sonoma, Napa and Petaluma–Marina.  The community is encouraged to bring up to five boxes of paper documents for shredding on site and at least one package of new school supplies for each box of documents. Supplies requested include backpacks, #2 pencils, markers, crayons, binder paper, pink erasers and blunt scissors.

Alameda – South Shore will host its Shred Day & School Supply Drive on Wednesday, August 2 from 9 am – noon at the relocated Bank of Marin branch at 2208 South Shore Center.  Donations will benefit the Alameda Education Foundation. Sonoma will host its Shred Day & School Supply Drive on Friday, August 11 from 9 am – noon at the Bank of Marin branch located at 136 W. Napa Street.  School supplies will be donated to the Sonoma Valley Education Foundation. For more information, contact Bank of Marin in Sonoma at 707-933-3750.

Napa will host its Shred Day & School Supply Drive on Friday, August 18 from 9 am – noon at the Bank of Marin branch located at 600 Trancas Street. Donations will benefit the Teacher Resource Center of the North Bay in Napa. For more information, contact Bank of Marin in Napa at 707-265-2000.

Petaluma – Marina will host its Shred Day & School Supply Drive on Thursday, August 17 from 9 am – noon at the Bank of Marin branch located at 799 Baywood Drive. A&P Records Management will be on site to securely destroy all documents, and the paper pulp will be recycled and used for new paper goods.
