ATM & Visa Debit Cards

Using an ATM or Visa® debit card instead of cash or checks is faster, easier, and more secure. Funds are automatically deducted from your account and purchase details can be viewed in online banking, mobile banking and on your monthly checking. ATM Card Features

24-Hour access to your account

Use your ATM card with a personal identification number (PIN) at any Bank of Marin ATM to obtain cash, make deposits, or transfer funds between Bank of Marin accounts. Obtain cash at other ATMs with one or more of the following symbols: NYCE®, PLUS®, VISA®, or MoneyPass®.

Low cost and no monthly service fees

There is no charge for using the card to access your funds at Bank of Marin ATMs or any ATM with a MoneyPass symbol. Use your card for up to six (6) withdrawals per month at other ATMs outside the MoneyPass surcharge network, and incur no fee from Bank of Marin (other bank’s fees may apply). Bank of Marin does not charge a monthly fee to have an ATM card with your account. (All other card transaction fees still apply).

Visa Debit Card Features

Fast and Easy

No need to keep cash or checks on hand, just use your Visa Debit Card. Simply swipe or insert your card, sign the receipt, or input your PIN for payment. Funds will automatically be deducted from your checking account.

There is no charge for debit card purchases using your signature or PIN. There is no charge for using the debit card to access your funds at Bank of Marin ATMs or any ATM with a MoneyPass symbol. Use your card for up to six (6) withdrawals per month at other ATMs outside the MoneyPass surcharge network, and incur no fee from Bank of Marin (other bank’s fees may apply). Safe and secure

When you sign for purchases, rather than using your PIN, you automatically get Visa security protection with Visa Zero Liability. (Visa Zero Liability means you are not responsible for unauthorized purchases).

Seamless account-update process

The VISA Account Updater (VAU) Program delivers a seamless account-update process between Bank of Marin and the participating merchants linked to your Bank of Marin debit card. When information changes on your account, VAU will update all of the participating merchants with whom you have ongoing relationships, requiring no direct action on your part.
